Q: What information do I need to provide you with?
A: Generally the information we require for the preparation of a rental property return is fairly straight-forward. We need to know the IRD numbers and contact details of the individuals who own the rental property. We need to know how much rent you have received and what expenses you have paid out for your rental property. If you have a mortgage we need to see the mortgage bank statements so we can calculate how much interest you can claim. See the PDF below to see a list of the types of expenses you can claim. If you have just purchased a rental property we need to see the Sale & Purchase Agreements and the Lawyers Statements.

Q: How long will it take?
A: Once we have all the information we can have the returns completed within 4 weeks. If you require your return before a certain deadline, we can prioritise your job without additional cost if the deadline is reasonable.
Q: Can I book an appointment?

Q: I come from outside Wellington and Palmerston North, do we have to have a face-to-face meeting?
A: No you don’t. We are more than happy to communicate with you via email, phone or post – whatever works best for you. We service rental property clients New Zealand wide and we also service clients who have moved to Australia and still rent out a house back here in NZ.
