Guidance on new anti-corruption law
New Zealand has a strong reputation for being free and intolerant of bribery and corruption. In November 2015, the Organised Crime and Anti-corruption Legislation Bill was passed. On 1 December 2015, New Zealand ratified the United Nations Convention Against Corruption. New Zealand's ability to combat corruption is now stronger than ever.
To help New Zealand businesses comply with our law, the Ministry of Justice has produced the following guidance material:
- Saying No to Bribery and Corruption - A Guide for New Zealand Businesses
- Facilitation Payments and New Zealand's Anti-Bribery Laws
- How to Create a Fraud and Corruption Policy.
